Nestled in the Foothills of California's majestic San Gabriel Mountain Range, Glendora is a picturesque and vibrant community incorporated as a city in 1911. Glendora, established along the historic Route 66 provides a major thoroughfare for residents of Glendora and neighboring communities.
Historic Route 66
During the early 20th Century, Route 66 was thriving and the only highway linking Chicago to LA, like that song says. Today Glendora is a modernized city that still cherishes it old-fashioned values. From Glendora, you can reach Los Angeles, Pacific Ocean beaches, Mt. Baldy village, and the desert within an hour on the freeways.
20th Century Motor Lodge has been a part of the community since 1947, and has seen many famous people throughout the years. People all over the world have stayed with us while traveling the famous Route 66.
